Chrome extension 3.89.0

Pairs with Zenith Desktop, and works in every Zoho data center

  • Pair with Zenith Desktop. In the desktop app, open Settings → Chrome extension and choose Show pairing code, then type the code in the extension and check that both screens show the same code. The connection stays on this computer (127.0.0.1), and nothing changes until you pair.
  • Ask Zenith from Creator. Ask Zenith, Open in Zenith and Send to Zenith Desktop from the command palette and the launcher.
  • Your Zoho session, only when you approve. When the desktop app asks for a session, a consent window offers to send the cookies of one Zoho data center. It opens on Don’t send, and a stray key press can’t send them.
  • Writes through the browser are off unless you turn on Allow Zenith Desktop to write through this browser.
  • Every Zoho data center. Creator apps outside zoho.com work too: pick the data center when you add an app, or paste a Creator URL and the rest is filled in.
  • A refreshed design for the popup, dashboard, command palette and launcher, with a popup you can use from the keyboard.
  • Fixes. A license server error no longer downgrades Pro to the free Community plan or deletes API keys, and Verify checks reports, pages, workflows and schedules against their own lists.
Desktop 0.1.0

Zenith Desktop 0.1, early access

  • Early access. The first builds of the desktop app, for Macs with Apple silicon, go out by hand while we work through real Creator apps with early users. They are not notarized by Apple yet. Get early access.
  • A mirror of your whole app. Sign in inside Zenith, continue with your Chrome session, or import a .ds export. Your app becomes a git-tracked folder on your Mac, indexed for search, mentions, who-calls-what and lint.
  • From plan to proof. Ask answers with citations to your code. Plan asks the questions that shape a feature and writes its requirements. Build drafts the Deluge and the schema changes and lints them. Nothing touches Creator while you plan or build.
  • Review. Diffs against live Creator, Keep / Undo for each change, line comments sent back to the agent, and Mark reviewed.
  • Ship and verify. One approval per ship, a preflight check, a snapshot before every function push, and guided steps for forms, fields, workflows, reports and pages. A re-pull then verifies every component, and Roll back run restores the snapshots.
  • Your own AI key. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter or a local model server, encrypted with your macOS Keychain. Every turn shows what it cost, and budgets stop a thread before it overspends.
  • Read-only until you say so. Writes need a grant for each app, and production targets need a typed confirmation every time.
  • Try it without your own app. The Acme Ops demo app runs offline on a scripted model, fully unlocked.
  • Licensing. Community covers Ask, Plan, the mirror, the Explorer and the demo; Pro adds Build and Ship. The 14-day Pro trial needs no card, and an existing Zenith key activates the app.

Launching a feature keeps sync working

  • Launching a Feature now checks that the worker tab still exists after opening every component, and recreates it if it was closed, so sync, bulk create and Add function keep working in the new window.
  • Creating missing functions from a Feature, and creating a function from Settings, now prefer the worker tab over a temporary tab.

  • The Referenced functions and Referenced forms badges opened a broken URL. They now open the right component, and their tooltips list the names instead of [object Object].

  • Removed the worker tab’s second actions menu; the launcher on that tab now offers only Open Settings.

  • When Chrome restored a session, the extension could open a second worker tab next to the restored one. It now adopts the restored tab and closes any duplicates on startup.

  • Sync and other background work now use a single pinned worker tab per app.
  • The worker tab shows a lock overlay with what it is doing, so it is clear why it is open and that it shouldn’t be used by hand.
  • A workspace indicator shows which app the worker tab is serving when you switch apps.

Worker tab stays pinned and branded

  • The worker tab no longer lands in the Workflows tab group, stays pinned, and no longer spins on “Loading page…” during sync.
  • It keeps the Zenith icon after Chrome restores a session, even while Creator’s scripts change the page’s favicon.
