Zenith works with Creator through your own Zoho account, the same way you do in a browser. It does not need a Zoho OAuth app or an admin to set anything up.
Sign in inside Zenith
Choose your data center (US, EU, India, Australia, Japan, Canada, Saudi Arabia, UK, UAE, Singapore or China), then sign in in the Creator tab. The session is kept on your Mac, so you stay signed in after a restart.
Google sign-in blocked? Google often refuses to sign in inside embedded browsers. Sign in with your Zoho password and one-time code instead, or use Continue with Chrome.
Continue with Chrome
If you are already signed in to Zoho in Chrome, the paired extension can hand that session to Zenith:
- Zenith asks the extension for a session for one data center.
- Chrome shows what will be shared; choose Send.
- Zenith shows the account it received; choose This session only or Remember.
Only cookies for that data center are accepted, and only in answer to a request you started.
Import a .ds file
No sign-in at all: export your app from Creator (Settings → Application IDE → Export) and import the .ds file. You get a read-only workspace with the full mirror, search and planning. Ships from a .ds workspace are guided steps that you do in Creator; verify them by importing a fresh export. You can connect live later without losing history.
Try the demo app
The demo creates Acme Ops, a sample app with orders, customers, products and refunds. It runs entirely on your Mac, is fully unlocked on every plan, and uses a scripted model if you have no key. Reset it at any time.
Allowing writes
Every app starts read-only. When you first ship to an app, preflight offers two choices:
- Ship all steps as guided: Zenith prepares each change and you apply it in Creator, with the values ready to paste and automatic checks.
- Enable writes for this app: type the app’s link name to let Zenith push functions to that app only.
Production targets, and apps without environments, need a typed confirmation on every ship. Apps on your protected list are never written. See Security.
Data centers and environments
Zenith uses the data center you chose for every request. For apps with environments, Zenith targets Development by default; while environment behavior is being verified, ships to environment apps run as guided steps.
