Zenith for Zoho Creator is a free Chrome extension that works on its own and as a companion to the desktop app. See the extension page for what it can do and every permission it asks for.
Install
Find Zenith for Zoho Creator in the Chrome Web Store and choose Add to Chrome. Open your Creator app, then open the extension and Sync to build its index of your app.
Use
- Alt Z opens the palette on any Creator page. Type part of a name; Return opens it.
- The launcher (bottom left of the builder unless you move it in the extension settings) holds quick actions for the page you are on: Copy code, Copy for AI with dependencies, Calls and Called by for a function, and Generate deep link for a report.
- Hover a function in the builder’s function list to see what it references.
Change the shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Pair with the desktop app
- In Zenith, open Settings → Chrome extension and choose Show pairing code. Zenith shows a six-digit code.
- In Chrome, open the extension and click Connect to Zenith Desktop (the Zenith mark in the popup header). Type the code and choose Connect to Zenith Desktop.
- Both screens then show a six-character check code. If the two match, choose They match, pair in Zenith.
Chrome may ask for permission to reach 127.0.0.1; that is the desktop app on the same computer. Once paired:
- Ask Zenith about this function opens a desktop thread with the code attached.
- Open in Zenith shows the component in the desktop app.
- Continue with Chrome can hand your Zoho session to the desktop app when you ask it to. See Connecting your Creator app.
- A Pro license from the extension can activate the desktop app: choose Use the license from your Zenith extension.
Writing to Creator through the browser is off unless you turn on Allow Zenith Desktop to write through this browser in the extension.
Unpair
Choose Unpair next to the browser in Settings → Chrome extension in Zenith, or Unpair in the extension’s Zenith Desktop panel. Either side forgets the pairing.
